Psychedelic Medicine Coalition (PMC) is excited to announce our newest initiative to catalyze change in Washington: Psychedelic Medicine PAC. PM PAC is a Political Action Committee intending to help elect leaders who believe in science and want to improve lives through psychedelic medicine.
“I am thrilled to announce the launch of our political action committee dedicated to advancing the science of psychedelic medicine for the betterment of American society,” said PM PAC President and Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Psychedelic Medicine Coalition, Melissa Lavasani. “With the growing evidence of therapeutic benefits from psychedelics, we
believe it is time for the American people to take action into their own hands by electing leaders that support policies that expand access to these life-changing treatments. We look forward to working with policy leaders and organizations to create positive change and bring the benefits of psychedelic medicine to those in need.”
The launch of PM PAC is crucial in the fight to change legislation around psychedelics and supplements the PMC’s work in Washington and other organizations’ efforts. America can no longer afford leaders who ignore scientific evidence, and it’s time for action and change.
