(CSE: PSYC) (OTCQB: PSYCF) (FSE: 5U9) (the “Company” or “Psyched“) a life sciences company focused on the production and distribution of artisanal functional and psychedelic mushrooms, is pleased to announce that it has submitted an application with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) to register the trademark “AME-1” in connection with the Company’s unique extraction.
AME-1, which stands for Amanita Muscaria Extract-1, was developed after a long scientific process of trial and error to create the ideal extract for the Company’s future products. After developing a custom high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) analytical method for Amanita Muscaria’s unique compounds and raw material, the Company finalized its extraction process and was able to write the AME-1 specifications. The Company, and its respected advisory board, believes that the AME-1 will be the base for the Company’s future Amanita Muscaria product lines in both the health and wellness and the pharma side. As part of its ongoing research and development, the Company will continue to identify novel uses for AME-1 and will look to build a patent portfolio around AME-1 for new pharmacologically optimized psychedelic medicines.
