With the holiday season upon us we thought it’d be a good time to discuss giving. For psychedelic explorers, this time of the year presents us with interesting opportunities to examine how we define words like generosity and personal fulfillment.
How do we want to spend our time? Our money? How do we want to define our measures of value? If psychedelic therapy is partly about personal growth, then these questions are surely part of the equation.
For those looking to give back to organizations in the psychedelic sphere, to help those who are helping others, here’s a list of worthwhile groups that Microdose has either donated to or worked with. Happy holidays and all the best on your journey.
Heroic Hearts Project offers a proprietary program to veterans who are interested in pursuing psychedelic treatment options. We primarily work with ayahuasca retreat centers due to the powerful effect it has shown to have on healing PTSD. Our program has been designed to ensure veterans get the most out of this valuable opportunity and are set up for success when they return home. We also provide financial scholarships to veterans who are struggling financially. To date, we have provided more than $200,000 in support to veterans applicants. We are trying to connect at least 250 veterans to psychedelic therapies next year with each veteran needing around $4,000 in support. https://www.heroicheartsproject.org/
We provide public education and cultural understanding about psychedelic plant medicines and promote a bridge between the ceremonial use of sacred plants and psychedelic science.
“By giving to Chacruna this holiday season, you will be supporting initiatives at the true forefront of social justice and psychedelic science, and helping ensure that these powerful medicines are available for the healing and transformation of all people, regardless of race, class, gender, sexuality or creed.” www.givebutter.com/chacruna

At Fireside Project, we envision a world where every person feels safe, supported, and seen during and after their psychedelic experiences so they can use those experiences to live richer, healthier, more joyous lives. Our name was inspired by the feeling of sitting around a fire, experiencing a sense of community, connection, and openness.
Our Psychedelic Peer Support Line is the safety net needed NOW as more people turn to psychedelics, often without proper preparation or support. With your help, we’ll launch our Equity Initiative in 2022. We will train cohorts of volunteers from BIPOC, veteran, and trans communities, then offer the choice to callers from those communities to integrate their psychedelic experiences with someone sharing that part of their identity. In just seven months, we’ve supported 1,300 people during and after their psychedelic experiences!
